Festival-Info:

In 1520, King Henry VIII of England and King Francis I of France met near Calais for a grand show of rivalry. As each king tried to outshine the other with their great wealth, the event came to be known as "The Field of the Cloth of Gold".

Join us in Sonora as we relive this event with a weekend of jousting, music, magicians and jesters.

Directions:

From Stockton:
Take Highway 4 to Angels Camp.
When you reach Angels Camp, make a right and follow Highway 49 to the fairgrounds a few miles out of town. Be sure to stay to the right (on Highway 49) when it splits from Highway 4 at the end of town.
