Olde World Renaissance Faire

Minnesota

Location: Twig
Start Date: 6/14/2008
End Date: 6/15/2008
Festival-Info: The beginnings of the Olde World Renaissance Faire were established in 1998 out of a need for traditional artisan’s to have a time and place to present their wares to the public.  For the first 5 years the event has been successfully operated under the name "Olde World Market and Medieval Festival", and held annually during the winter holiday season at an indoor venue in Twig, Minnesota.  As The Faire has grown over the years, several transformations have taken place with increased sponsorship, our new web site, and moving to a secluded outdoor site where we've created the Market Village Brikenhar.

Now, in the tradition of a medieval celebration amongst festive tents, flowing banners, and beautiful clothing; the Olde World Renaissance Faire presents bits of history and lore from 1200 - 1700 Europe.  Our resident dragon and mythical unicorn, trade merchants, medieval music and entertainment, historic education, games of skill, and delicious foods are all nestled in a secluded enchanted meadow.  You are invited to come, experience, and enjoy history within our gates
