Festival-Info: The Renaissance period in history spanned many centuries. It was time of rebirth after the Dark Ages. Science, Art, Literature, Music all saw incredible growth and change. It was a time of expansion, explorations, travel, and trade. The invention of movable type (the printing press) allowed for information to be widespread. Exploration of new lands brought new ideas, foods, textiles, spices, and wares home. The Renaissance Faire is a celebration of that time.
